But I Did is a selection from a broader photographic series exploring desire, intimacy, sexuality and the female gaze.
Working from a female perspective, I turned the historically dominant gaze toward the male body—not simply to reverse roles, but to examine what changes when desire and looking are authored from the other side.
The work moves between attraction and distance, control and surrender, the body as subject and the body as projection.
